HEALTH RESOURCES brings to the rural health systems analysis
30 years of administrative and supervisory experience in the health
and human service field. She is a Certified Facilitator for Leadership Management, Inc., and a certified Concept Systems Facilitator, (Concept Systems, Inc.; strategic planning with muscle). Her experience and skill in program operations, strategic planning, and problem solving, has contributed to her commanding fluency in developing and coaching individuals and groups. She is accomplished in the management of administrative activities and comprehensive program design. Her personal and professional goal is to serve as a vehicle for restructuring rural health care delivery, in a collaborative environment. She seeks to expedite the complete development and implementation of mutually beneficial networking strategies, between all the involved individuals or groups, whether they are health care providers, government agencies, hospitals or community service providers. Ms. Wattenberg is experienced in planning, design, development, implementation and management of local processes needed to achieve health care goals, specifically in rural under-served Health Professional Shortage Areas. Her efforts have led to the improved ability of communities to appropriately access, target, and use health care resources, and to improve the ability of community providers to understand and negotiate the changes in the health care environment. Illustrations of her strong commitment to program innovation and enrichment include administration of government programs for the elderly; medical school's community oriented primary care projects; rural health network development; and system development to improve and expand health care accessibility. Elizabeth Embser Wattenberg has a special interest in Emergency Medical Services, oral health, geriatric and primary care, as well as rural health network development. She is seasoned in needs assessment, team building, proposal/grant writing, targeting changing needs, project management, Federal, State, and County government relations as well as programmatic implementation and oversight. She has proven to be a durable liaison and resource among governing authorities. |
